Privacy Notice
Last updated: October 13, 2026
Plumeria & Pine Publishing LLC operates this website to share information about our books and respond to readers, families, and educators. This notice explains the information involved when you visit or contact us.
Information you provide
When you use our contact form, you may provide your name, email address, and message. If you contact us by email, we receive your email address and the contents of your correspondence. Please share only what is needed for your inquiry.
How information is used
We use inquiry information to respond, provide requested book information, and keep a record of the conversation. Sending an inquiry does not sign you up for a newsletter.
Website and email providers
Our website is hosted by WordPress.com, and the contact form uses Jetpack, services operated by Automattic. Form submissions are stored in the website database and sent to our publishing email inbox. Our email is handled through Gmail. These providers process information to deliver their services.
WordPress.com may collect technical information such as IP address, browser and device information, referring page, and visit time. Cookies and similar technologies may support site operation, security, statistics, and, where enabled by the hosting service, advertising. If spam filtering is enabled, form information may be processed to check for spam.
See Automattic’s visitor privacy notice, its cookie policy, the Jetpack Privacy Center, and Google’s privacy policy for provider details.
Retention and security
Inquiry records may remain in our website dashboard and email inbox. We review requests to delete information we control, subject to any recordkeeping obligations. Provider retention and backups follow their own policies. Please do not send payment details, identity documents, or other sensitive information through this form.
Your choices
You may choose not to submit the form, manage cookies through your browser and any available consent controls, or contact hello@plumeriaandpinepublishing.com to request access, correction, or deletion of inquiry information we hold. We may need to verify your identity before responding. For information held independently by a provider, use its privacy controls or contact that provider.
Children and families
Our books include materials for children, but the contact form is intended for adults. Parents and educators should submit inquiries on a child’s behalf without including unnecessary identifying information. If a child has submitted personal information, please contact us so we can review and remove it where appropriate.
Links and changes
Links to other websites are governed by those websites’ privacy practices. We will update this notice as our website features change and revise the date above.
